Jeanny grew up in Illinois and has been singing since she was 3 years old. She's a classically trained pianist and vocalist, but in recent years has worked in classic rock bands, R&B bands, and currently with About Time returning to the classics and jazz. She is influenced by a range of artists from Ella Fitzgerald to Aretha Franklin and brings energy and emotion to anything she sings.
Bob grew up in Massachusetts and has played in multiple bands since his teen years. While he cut his teeth on rock and pop hits from the era, he took to jazz later in life, and has recently been working on more voicing and comping techniques for his work with About Time. Bob is influenced by a range of artists from Jon Lord of Deep Purple to Bill Evans and other jazz pianists from the post bebop era.
Alan’s meandering musical path began with drums in the middle school band as well as learning “cowboy” chords on the guitar. After a long break to pursue a degree (and a career) in physics, he took a gig as a stay-home dad and at some point “re-discovered” the guitar (and bass and drums). He hasn’t been able to put them down since! His third career was a music teacher, and now he’s “retired” which means he’s busier than ever with fun projects that include jazz guitar, rock drums, and bass for About Time!
Tim started music therapy (drums) at 7 yrs old to combat a Hyperactivity diagnosis. Drumming was my Ritalin, only fewer side effects. I was trained in Rudiments and snaredrum and then recieved my first drum kit when I was 8. Had many teachers/ private lessons and first learned Jazz and finally rock.
